RoundTeam
RoundTeam is a content management tool for Twitter that seeks to empower social media managers by giving them tools for managing retweets and content across multiple channels. Their clients included such media companies as the Huffington Post.
They came to us with the goal of increasing subscriber retention and increasing dashboard usability as their subscribers had difficulty learning the complexities of their filters and tweet options.
I worked with a design team to optimize and redesign site wholly from the ground up for user retention, clarity, and effiency.
UX Research and Testing
We conducted heuristic analysis, card sorts, and user tests of the existing site, and reworked the entire user flow from the beginning as well as the site mechanics. We revised the vocabulary and task flows as the language needed to be clarified, and created detailed job stories.
Flows, Design Sprints and Wireframes
I led team design sprints, managed and helped facilitate team and client meetings, created wireframes and worked on iterative site prototypes in Sketch. We added tooltips and other user-friendly features so users didn’t have to keep referring to the FAQ, and introduced filter categories to reduce cognitive load in dealing with the numerous filter options.
Visual Design
We created hi-fidelity mockups and prototypes in Marvel and Atomic.
I worked on site as a solo designer to finalize the existing design, added new features and graphic assets based on changing requirements and shipped finalized screens to the engineering team via Zeplin.
